Reporting to the EVP WW Sales, the Solution Engineer (SE) is a technical pre-sales role, where prime activities fall into two areas. The SE must be able to assist Account Executives by addressing the technical questions that occur during the pre-sales phase. Such questions may be related to either the CloudEndure product/architecture, or to the infrastructure platforms that are the source and destination for the customer’s activity. In addition, the SE will own the primary technical responsibility to initiate, support, and manage the customer’s engagement in a proof-of-concept. Specifically, this will be confirmation of fit for purpose, creation of test license, support for installation and ongoing use, and collection of KPI’=s to determine success or failure against customer’s success criteria. In rare cases, the SE may also be the first port of call for customers with rudimentary questions immediately within their go-live period
